Abstract

The ultraviolet Imaging Telescope on AstroSat has been used to create one of the deepest far-ultraviolet survey of star-forming galaxies and galaxy clusters. In this talk, I will discuss how some of these galaxies, called Lyman continuum emitters, can be detected with AstroSat. I will also present the global properties of Lyman alpha emitters at low redshifts.
