From the Lyon Part-Dieu train station
- From Lyon and Oullins: Take Metro Line B to the terminus “Saint-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud,” then take Bus 78 toward “Gare de Givors-Ville.” Get off at the “Observatoire” stop, then walk up Rue des Martyrs (a short but steep hill) and turn left onto Avenue Charles André; you’ll see the observatory gate at the end. Note: Bus 78 runs infrequently, so be sure to check the schedule before coming!

- Alternative option from Lyon, La Mulatière, and Oullins: Take the C10 bus (which serves Place Bellecour and the Musée des Confluences) toward “Saint-Genis Barolles” and get off at the “Saint-Genis Centre,” which is about a 20-minute walk from the observatory up Rue des Martyrs. The journey is longer, but the C10 runs much more frequently.
