General Services

To support the Lyon Observatory in its work, a support and research unit, the COMET Unit (UMS 3721), was established in 2015. Its purpose is to pool financial, human, and material resources, enabling the implementation of any cross-cutting structural initiatives.

The UMS provides administrative and technical services and brings together engineers and technicians. The services associated with the UMS are located at the historic Saint-Genis-Laval site and on the La Doua campus in Villeurbanne.
