Abstract

The Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope on AstroSat has been used to create one of the deepest far-ultraviolet surveys of star-forming galaxies and galaxy clusters. In this talk, I will discuss how some of these galaxies, known as Lyman continuum emitters, can be detected using AstroSat. I will also present the overall properties of Lyman-alpha emitters at low redshifts.
